What say? Reservation or Anti reservation, for those who do not have the slightest idea what I am talking about read the para below
On April 5, Human Resource Development Minister Arjun Singh had declared that the government was planning to reserve 27 percent of seats in central universities and other higher educational institutions for other backward classes. If the government implements its plan, the reservations in these institutions will go up to 49.5 percent. Currently there is 22.5 percent reservation in all government institutions for the scheduled castes and scheduled tribes.
So whats your stand, it doesnt matter you are a general or a backward class student. Its all-political matter I say. Govt divides students, it's pro vs anti-quota. Student from general quota protested with strike and various campaigns. On the other hand, those in favour of reservation said students from weaker backgrounds needed support.
Well I will not take any stand, how does that effect me anyways. But one thing I must say I hate politicians, forward mails and sms, which bugs me, related to this issue.
