Hi Buddies,

Surprise surprise surprise. Here is another surprise for you. The surprise is that you would not able to see Himanshu Bajaj again in spects. Yep I have finally undergone a LASIK (Laser Assisted In-situ Keratomileusis) operation for myopic eye. I am now 6/6 naked eye from 6/6 -5 D each eye.

Some FAQs related to this operation

Q. Why I have undergone this operation? Or
Q. Himanshu, you looked prety with spects. Why the operation then?

A. Although some friends say I look smart and intel in spects, I hate to wear spects. I was wearing it since I was just 11 yr old. I hate to search for my spects every then and now. I felt handicapped without it. I was unable to see swimmers in swim suits while swimming specially gals ... kidding.. ; I was unable to bear scorching sun in summers without the goggles and I cannot wear spects and goggles both; I was not allowed to appear for BHEL interview due to my high power of spects. There are lot many stages in life I felt embarassed. Finally its all gone.

Q. What was the total expenditure?
A. who care for money when its from father pocket. Anyways it was around 16k.

Q. Was the operation painful?
A. Yes it is but its nothing in front of giving up your spects forever. For those who are going or planning for the operation. I would suggest have patience for 10 min during the operation as the operation really hurts.

Q. What are the precautions and medication post operation?
A. Post operation I have to keep away with dust, , direct sunlight, TV and computer screen as much as possible. And as far as medicine is concern there in no medication except for 3 Eye drops thrice a day.

Here are some guidelines by doctor
Avoid swimming and splashing of water on the eyes for a month.
Avoid rubbing the eyes for a month.
Use sunglasses to avoid bright sun, dust, wind and air pollution.
Avoid excessive viewing of TV or computers for a week.

Feel free to ask me anything more.

Take care

Hi to all,
Here I am again with good news. And I have two good news to share.

So here they are,

First one is that ... Two of my wing mates got selected in one of the prestigious company MICROSOFT which came for the recruitment in MNNIT (although a bit late) . Mr. Naughty alias Sushil the mast Punjabi guy and the second Mr. IAS alias Achal. Although their packages are almost double that of mine but still my happiness is more than half as that of their's. I wish them a great future for both. May they rise higher then their dreams

Second good news is that Himanshu Bajaj is now certified Er.Himanshu Bajaj because 8th sem result is out and I got highest percentage of all the 8th Semester and also
my performance year wise is a positive slope curve with increasing percentage in each year. God only knows how Himanshu Bajaj has completed his B.Tech in Mechanical. Today if I would have been in Allahabad, I might have been enjoying a booze party at Maikhana.

It has been a week since I left the college. Its really boring out here in Gwalior. I am waiting impatiently for the joining day to arrive. On a day after a dinner Papa ji casually asked me Beaita what kind of wife do you want? Oh God I tell you its like a blow to my head. I love my bachelorhood like anything papa and do not ask this question to me ever again at least till I am well settle in life.
Then I though. Why does one need a WIFE?
After a long brainstorming I came to answer as

W---Washing
I---Ironing
F---Food
E---Entertainment

I hate to wash but I am comfortable with Washing Machine.

I hardly wear ironed clothes, in four last years as far as I remember I had iron clothes only on First year fresher day, then on Bajaj Auto interview day, and then on photo session day of Final year. Thats only 3 times in 4 years.

Food not a problem. Anytime any food will do. I hated MNNIT mess food. I have survived for four years on mess food, that proves I can survive on anything eatable on this planet.

Entertainment, I have other means of entertainment, which include watching TV or movie, chatting with friends, browsing on net, playing indoor out door games, reading a novel, and writing a blog page.

So in a nutshell I do not need a WIFE.
