Aa ha so another day has come to a happy ending. Why happy ending. Uh hum primarily due to the following main reasons: -

Primary, For the past few weeks I was working in first shift so I have to get up early in the morning (5:45 am to be precise), today I was called in second shift so had a great sleep this weekend.Secondly, The bike was accepted for servicing even after exceeding the mentioned time period for the service (It was overdue), for which I was a bit worried about. As mentioned in the manual the first free service can be availed only if the owner summits it for service after 500 km or 30 days from the date of Purchased. Which I told was exceeded.Lastly, I have just finished with the book "Zen in the Martial Arts" By Joe Hyams.

Joe Hyams, the author of the book as a result of his years of disciplined study in this book explains how mastering a martial art can foster a student's personal and spiritual growth.

My sincere thanks to Mr Anand (Sourcing Department, Cummins India Limited) from whom I borrowed the book. I am thankful to him as he as made me theme so clear about the book that I really feel like reading in a single shot. My sincere thanks to Mr Satish Khaire (DM, Press Shop) who asked me come in second shift to monitor Press shop for this week. This has given me enough time and courage to read and work in the second shift, as I am the only head in second shift, so nobody really bothers you work sleep or read.

About the book, this book named "Zen in the Martial Arts" teaches you the learning, which one can implement in his life through the experience gained by Mr Hyams during his mastering of different arts.

My learning from the book is "A man who has attained mastery of an art reveals it in his every action".

work principles

1. Rule 1. - The Boss is always right.

2. Rule 2. - If the Boss is wrong, see rule 1
.
3. Those who work get more work. Others get pay, perks, and promotions.

4. Ph.D. stands for "Pull Him Down". The more intelligent a person,
the more hardworking a person, the more committed a person; the more
number of persons are engaged in pulling that person down.

5. If you are good, you will get all the work. If you are really
good, you will get out of it.

6. When the Bosses talk about improving productivity, they are never
talking about themselves.

7. It doesn't matter what you do, it only matters what you say you've
done and what you are going to do.

8. A Pat on the back is only a few centimeters from a kick in the butt.

9. Don't be irreplaceable. If you can't be replaced, you can't be
promoted.

10. The more crap you put up with, the more crap you are going to get.

11. If at first you don't succeed, try again. Then quit. No use being a
damn fool about it.

12. When you don't know what to do, walk fast and look worried.

13. Following the rules will not get the job done.

14. If it weren't for the last minute, nothing would get done.

15. Everything can be filed under "Miscellaneous".

16. No matter how much you do, you never do enough.

17. You can do any amount of work provided it isn't the work you are
supposed to be doing.

18. In order to get a promotion, you need not necessarily know your job.

19. In order to get a promotion, you only need to pretend that you know
your job.

20. The last person that quit or was fired will be held responsible for
everything that goes wrong
